The United States will consider all additional ties to foreign countries in an attempt to determine whether an applicant would be expected to resolve conflicts of interest in favor of the United States over any other country. Your application might be denied if you are a dual citizen, use a foreign passport to enter the United States, vote for or participate in a foreign government, or have a period of foreign military service.
