Guideline J – Criminal Conduct

The United States will be interested in whether an applicant had been charged, arrested, or served a summons to appear in court for any criminal offenses in the recent past and will require the disclosure of any felony or domestic violence convictions. While no offense is truly dispositive, felony convictions might be difficult to mitigate.
